I didn't vote Austin as he only played 5 games. Missed half the games so far.
The rest look right though.

Haha - not that I'm complaining, but who voted for Elfrid Payton over Anthony Davis? And then gave Davis a two?

Was just thinking same thing.

It was me but it wasn't exactly that way. I said #1 for the Kings core, but if I had to choose only one then Payton. I just thought the MVP should go to a player on the best team in the league, and while it is still very early Sacramento looks to me like the best team.

As others have said in other threads, the MVP award is very subjective. I see it as the best player on the best team, so I basically chose the teams that I think are top 5 at the moment and chose the best player of those teams. And yes, had the Pelicans fourth.

Anthony Davis/Isaiah Austin/Kevin Durant/Blake Griffin/Paul George Is the order I went.

AD is a no brainer so far. After that, the next 4 are interchangeable really. Austin is the best player this early on the best record holding team in the West - gotta keep my votes in line with the vanilla CSL way.

Hands down Davis so far. Carrying a team with a great record. Easy decision in my opinion

While I lean towards teams with great records, no one player from the Kings or Suns deserve to be in consideration right now. Bledsoe isn't even having a good season so far (by his standards) and Austin missed 4 games. No one person is carrying our team. For the Kings, you have Porter, Payton and Solomon all playing equally great but not on an MVP level.

It's Davis for me right now, but not in a landslide. Griffin is right behind him.

Good to see George on here, having a tremendous overall statistical season again.

Davis is the clear cut MVP for me right now, but Harden/George/Durant/Blake will make it a tough call in the coming months. Some high end talent in the league right now but Davis and his two way impact is hard to beat.

Good stuff, AD is my MVP thus far as well. I don't think Kings/Suns have a true MVP like standout player so far, as they are playing team ball.

I absolutely love the SAC/PHX dynamic in the Pacific. Impressive teams.

And what a cool story Austin is.

Agreed but even though he's missed 4 games, it's such an early MVP look that your can include him (for now anyway). He has the stats compared to others.

I remember someone saying we're like the 03-04 Pistons. I doubt they had an MVP candidate either. Maybe late top 10 at best.

Austin definitely a good story. We always keep an eye on him as we nearly took him at 5 instead of Payton.

Ben Wallace was definitely top 10 in 03/04... I'm too lazy to look at the votes, but my guess is 6 or 7.

That's good to know. I don't think someone on a team like that could be a top 3 candidate but top 10 like Wallace, definitely.

Yeah, Ben was top 10 at that time, as he was a unstoppable defensive force.
