The Golden State Warriors clung to the 8th playoff spot to squeak into the playoffs. Some people felt they had the chance to make their first round matchup with the juggernaut Thunder a real series. How could a team consisting of James Harden and Kevin Durant NOT be must watch TV?
Trust us, it was...NOT must watch TV. Psst, the answer is D
The first game surely saw many people realize that in this David vs. Goliath story, there was no rock that was going to smite the Thunder. While Sammy Hagar may have liked the difference, the 55 point beat down by the Thunder tuned up the fat lady right away. The Thunder were like kids at a carnival winning stuffed animals for their pimple faced girlfriends hitting 20 three pointers in the opening game.
The series, was never that as the Thunder destroyed the Warriors by double digit wins in their sweep of the first round. A team that once looked like a deadly foe was now reduced to a group of players planning their summer.

Now comes the time to figure out the next step. There currently seems to be an uneasy feeling in the offices of the the Warriors. Rumors swirl, some say the owner is going to fire General Manager Cyrisnyte while others say he is almost untouchable. To add to speculation is the rumors that Cyrisnyte may be on the verge of blowing up the entire team and starting with one or two building blocks. One source who wished to remain unnamed said that a huge confrontation took place in the locker room after the game with Kevin Durant and James Harden where players had to separate them after the final game of the series.
One thing for certain, this off-season will be interesting for the Warriors.

At this point, might as well think about tearing it down and starting over if Harden and Durant can fetch any value on the trade market since you have all your picks going forward and this team is pretty much tapped out on how it can perform with the current roster.

I second that.
It seems the windows has closed and it is time.
Harden and Durant could not really turn games this year. It may the very strong OKC game, but with one year older I would not bet on a much different result same time next year.

Tough tough call but you also competed very well post trade so it could be the secondary players and bench that needs improving.

Both options (win now/rebuild) are possible here, I think Harden could still net a nice rebuilding package. I'd talk to the upper tier teams like BOS/MIA/POR and see if you can flip Harden or Durant.
