Will Anyone Break This Record?
9 years ago today big man Al Jefferson playing with the Memphis Grizzlies broke his old scoring record when vs New York he put in an incredable 69 points on 29/43 shooting. The more amazing feat is it still remains today and only one player in Cameron Johnson has ever gotten close when the rookie scored 62 points.
So we have players like Rozier and Monk who are scoring machines but the questions has to be asked will anyone ever beat Al Jeffersons record? and who were the GM's of both teams at the time?
Have Your say here.

Actually, I believe he dropped 72 on Houston in the playoffs but the game does not record playoff stats as all time highs.
We played Big Al in Single Post at the time. This offensive set produced crazy numbers for any Center but with Big Al being aggressive offensively and crazy efficient, he had a few of those games. I think he is also top 10 all time in single game rebounding. Not sure if the offense brought a ton of wins but it was certainly fun to see the box score the next morning.

Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

Nah that was another 69 pointer I think. 70 hasn't been done except for once in the preseason. Harden did it when I surrounded him with some bench bums.andrei wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 8:07 am Actually, I believe he dropped 72 on Houston in the playoffs but the game does not record playoff stats as all time highs.

If the Spurs sit out Bertans and Parker, I think Rozier could hit 70 if given a few tries
