Fresh off a career high 58-point game against Western Conference rival Portland Trailblazers, Rockets star Malik Monk put the league on notice in a press conference.
There appears to be some tension between the top two scorers in the state of Texas. After professional mason Terry Rozier called out Malik Monk following Jabari Parker leading the Spurs to two wins, Monk fired back both on the court and off of it. Over his last fifteen games, Monk has gone completely nuclear, averaging 30.7ppg, well north of 50/50/90 shooting splits, and hitting the 50 point threshold three times (setting a career-high each time), and never once taking more than the 29 shot attempts he attempted against the Blazers.
Maybe MVP front-runner Ben Simmons has some competition after all...
