It's looking brighter.

Post by Ramcus »

After an embarrassing loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, the New Orleans Pelicans roar back with a 3 game win streak, going 6-2 in their last 8 games.

The acquisitions of Klay Thompson, Justin Holiday, and Lance Stephenson have been a vital part in exploding the offense for coach Gregg Popovich.

In the last 5 games, Klay Thompson has been a revelation, providing the 3 point marksmanship that the team had been missing.
In the last 3 games, Lance Stephenson has given the Pelicans that scoring punch off the bench, scoring 21 points in his first game in a Pelicans uniform.
Justin Holiday has provided a great defensive replacement for Harkless, and has also scored 21 points in his first game in a Pelicans uniform.

All in all, the New Orleans Pelicans GM has had this to say about his new acquisitions:
Ramcus
We're grateful for what Moe Harkless, Brandon Jennings, Tyler Dorsey, and Andrew Bynum have done for the organization. We asked them to play hard whenever they saw time on the floor, and to be a veteran presence for the younger guys, and they did exactly what we asked of them. For that, we could not be more satisfied with their production. Moving forward from them, our new teammates of Klay Thompson, Lance Stephenson, and Justin Holiday have done exactly what we've asked of them, and more. We're happy with their production, both on and off the court. Moving forward, we expect more of the same from them, and we look poised to make a push for the playoffs.

I'm honestly really impressed at how well you've filled in the roster around AD. Klay/PG are a fantastic pair of wings to go with Davis, and a bench led by Holiday, Johnson, and Stephenson has been solid. PG/C are definite weak points, but you have a legitimate team to fear now. Great work
