So we're about halfway through the season, decided to take a look at how our consensus picks have been doing (the ones we all mostly agreed on).

New York - We mostly had them under their projected win total of 29.5, and they are currently sitting at 10-34 so that one looks good for us.

Milwaukee - We were over on their 48.5 win total, they are currently on pace to win 60 games, so we should comfortably get this right as well.

Oklahoma City - Again, mostly over. This one is going to be really close, they are on pace to win 49 games and their line was set at 48.5... this will come down to the wire.

Portland - Another team we thought would go over their line, and it was a pretty soft line at 42.5. They are on pace to win 48 games, so should be good on that although it is close-ish.

Orlando - We didn't believe in the Magic, picking them to go under their 31.5 win total. They are on pace to win 34 games, so they might clear it and make us all look stupid, but we'll see, as it's pretty close.

Sacramento - Apparently, 78%+ of us think that they would finish under 31.5 wins. They are already at 24 wins and are on pace to win 42 games this season. That wasn't very smart of us.

Looking forward to seeing the final results!

So at this mid point, who's in the lead out of all the GM's?

So far Andrew, Gary and me are the only ones who saw the Kings improving. ;)

Talking only about Sacrameto because they were my favourite team to watch in the Webber / Divac era.

Great to see Sacramento back in the playoff hunt.

I was a huge fan of Bibby/Christie/Peja/Webber/Vlade and their bench mob back in the day.
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

Celtics have SAC's 1st this year. They couldn't have waited one more year to be good?

There's like 20 games or so left in the season, and some teams have already clinched their over/under while a handful more are really close to doing so!

Clinched
Boston - Under 58.5
Brooklyn - Over 32.5
Golden State - Under 63.5
Clippers - Over 36.5
Lakers - Under 48.5
Sacramento - Over 26.5

2 Games or Less Away from Clinching
Atlanta - Over 23.5
Milwaukee - Over 48.5
Minnesota - Under 45.5
New Orleans - Under 45.5
New York - Under 29.5
Orlando - Over 31.5
Phoenix - Under 29.5
Washington - Under 44.5

With that^ said, here's how I've done so far.

Boston - CORRECT
Brooklyn - WRONG
Golden State - CORRECT
Clippers - CORRECT
Lakers - CORRECT
Sacramento - WRONG

Atlanta - WRONG
Milwaukee - CORRECT
Minnesota - CORRECT
New Orleans - WRONG
New York - CORRECT
Orlando - WRONG
Phoenix - CORRECT
Washington - CORRECT

That's 9 out of 14. If I do above 50% again this year then I'm gonna make sure I go to Vegas next October and place bets on this.

Final results time!

Let's do the smaller awards first again.

The "Everyone was right except for me" Not Really an Award
mgtr81 was the only person who believed in the New York Knicks to become anything this year. All they needed to do was win 30 games, which no one thought they could, and well, we were right! They only managed to win 17 games, the lowest total in the league.

The Fortune Teller Award
Only two GMs predicted that Orlando would win at least 32 games, and that was BizGilwalker and Silogical.

These are the only awards really to hand out since we were very divided on a lot of teams. No unanimous picks this year, and hardly any teams that we even all 70% agreed on. So with that said, let's get to the standings!

Tied for 14th place, with 11 correct picks, are WillyJakkz and Blackice
In 12th place, with 12 correct picks, is Dennis
Tied for 10th place, with 13 correct choices, we have Andrei and hardenwithnod
In 8th place, with 14 right answers, is Andrewu91
In 7th place, with an even 15 correct picks, is BizGilwalker
We had a 4-way tie for 4th place; with 17 correct picks, are GreenBear, mgtr81, Silogical, and Rizzo
And in a crazy finish, we had a 3-way tie for first place! All with 18 correct picks, are...

emplep7
Flaming Homer
Myles

Here's the final results. Thanks for playing everyone!

Thanks for putting this all together Myles!

Here’s an idea: to get GMs more involved in things like this, mock drafts, etc maybe we hand out bonus scouts for those who finish in specific places. Thoughts?

Awesome job again Myles, I need to start going to Vegas with these odds.

Also, screw the Sixers for "Load Management" and blowing the OVER.
