The Golden Age Hoops has switched to DDSPB2018. The 1996-97 regular season starts next Sunday, November 4th.
We started in the 1976-77 season and we are still running. We were using the very first version of the series until last season, which resulted in a half-empty league as the game could not be purchased anymore. Therefore, we decided to change to the new engine in order to attract new GM's.

How many GMs do you have right now? Which teams are still open? You are a great guy/awesome commish so it has to be a great league. I would be interested.

It's definitely a great league. Was in it for a long time as co-commish. Then real life happened and I could only do one league.

Yeah I know that feeling. But with the overall activity drop in the CSL since this season, I think it's doable to handle a second league. But it only makes sense if they have enough GMs. So shoot me a message if something is open @Manu.

One more question, are you planning to move to dds19? It's easy to import, isnt it? So might be a good situation to recruit people.

Re: DDSPB2018 - Golden Age Hoops
Of course, you are all welcome. Right now we have half of the teams available (see first post). That's partly my fault, as I resisted for too long to make the switch to the current engine, and that resulted in an half-empty league. We got two new GM's this week and we will hopefully be adding some more in the near future.
It's a low maintenance league as there are no media requirements, just the basic GM duties: posting DC's, signing FA's, drafting ...
As for DDSPB19, we just made the switch to 18.

Re: DDSPB2018 - Golden Age Hoops
Sounds good. Gonna check out the page the upcoming week to make a decision which team to take. I own 18, so it's easy to get into the rhythm right away. Concerning DDS19.. Wasnt meant that Im expecting a fast move given it has still many glitches. But aint a switch from 18 to 19 very easy in general?mgtr81 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 5:47 pm Of course, you are all welcome. Right now we have half of the teams available (see first post).
