DDS19 Off-Season Schedule

We will finalize some draft prep, but below will be the tentative schedule for the full off-season.

02/10 - Trade Office Opens
02/15 - Draft Officially Starts at 1200 GMT (trade office closes)
02/20 - Draft ends
02/21-02/24 - Coaching Sim
02/25 - 02/27 - Contract Decisions, Second Round Signings Start
02/28 - 02/29 - Free Agency Begins
03/16 - Free Agency Ends (we will try to speed up towards the end)
03/17 - 03/19 - Training Camp
04/04-04/05 - New League DDS19 File released
04/06 - Pre-Season Start
04/13- Regular Season Start

We might start the unofficial draft start ahead of time, but we will determine that after discussing with the draft team. Also, this schedule is dynamic with the potential to change.

Sorry new guy question here: If the trade office closes during the draft, how are in-draft trades made? They’re just verballed?

Correct, trades made during the draft will be Verbal agreements until the draft is concluded and the trade office can be opened again.

Why are we not switching to the DDS19 now? I can't do jack shit with my team until I can get in the game. This just ensures that anyone who doesn't have the game will have the same team going in to next season. I'm sorry for the negativity, I'm just frustrated.

None of the activities we do in the offseason are run in DDS. They will all be done here on the forums.

You dont need any part of the game for the next steps. Also always open to send screens if you ask to. Most of the vets will always be open to help if you are active and ask for assistance. Also, if you need any opinion on deals/offers/whatever I would stronlgy advice to contact one of Rizzo, Greenbear and Emplep7. Great guys with good knowledge that will always be honest with you.

Reminder that with the coaching sim past, we are moving onto Contract Decisions (refer to the CSL Offseason section of the forum) which will go until 27Feb.

Contract decisions are over. Free Agency is set to begin shortly so be sure to pay attention to the Free Agency thread within CSL Offseason.

Schedule updated. The TC file is now available and will be run on 03/19.

The DDS19 file will (hopefully) be released on 03/23 at the latest.

Apologies as trying to manage COVID-19 at my workplace has taken a significant chunk of my time right now, and delaying the file release a bit. We're hopeful to have the file released this weekend at some point (or early next week at the latest) since we are close, but we will keep you all updated.
